Coming Fall 2026 Watch Register is in final development. How your data is protected.
Watch Register Watch Collection

Download

Download Watch Register.

A native application for macOS and Windows. It installs like any other desktop application, works entirely offline, and never asks you to create an account.

Installers are not published yet

Watch Register becomes available in Fall 2026. Downloads open then, alongside licensing. Rather than put a button here that leads nowhere, this is the honest state of things.

First launch

You will see a warning. Here is exactly why.

These builds are ad-hoc signed and not notarized by Apple. On macOS that means Gatekeeper blocks the first launch; on Windows, SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC.” This is not a sign that something is wrong with the download — it is a sign that no code-signing certificate has been purchased yet.

We would rather say this plainly than let you wonder. Teaching people to click past an operating system warning is not a habit we want to encourage, and formal signing with both Apple and Microsoft is in progress. Until it is complete, the honest position is to tell you exactly what you are being asked to do, and why.

macOS

Right-click → Open

Move the app to your Applications folder first — running it from Downloads or a mounted disk image can leave it looking for data in the wrong place. Then Control-click the app, choose Open, and choose Open again in the dialog. Once per machine.

Windows

More info → Run anyway

SmartScreen will show “Windows protected your PC.” Click More info, then Run anyway.

Before you start — two things worth knowing

The application opens locked and asks for a passphrase immediately; there is no “set this up later,” because later would mean storing your collection unprotected in the meantime. And the recovery key shown once during setup is the only other thing that can ever open your register. Write it down, on paper, where your important documents live. There is no reset.
